WE TREAT

We help people across Polzeath and North Cornwall recover from a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and bones. Our approach focuses on identifying the cause of the problem and guiding your recovery so you can move better, recover fully, and return to activity with confidence.

Lower Back Pain

Lower back pain can result from muscle strains, disc issues, or nerve irritation such as sciatica. Common conditions include lumbar disc bulges, nerve root irritation, facet joint pain, and chronic lower back discomfort.

Hip & Groin Pain

Hip and groin pain can result from muscle strain, joint irritation, or overuse. Common conditions include hip impingement, labral tears, gluteal tendinopathy, adductor strains, hip bursitis, osteoarthritis, and sporting-related groin injuries.

Neck Pain

Neck pain can result from muscle strain, poor posture, or joint irritation. Common conditions include cervical spondylosis, whiplash, facet joint dysfunction, tension-related neck pain, and cervical radiculopathy, which may cause pain, tingling, or numbness radiating into the shoulders or arms.

Shoulder & Elbow Pain

Shoulder and elbow pain can develop from overuse, injury, or joint irritation. Common conditions include rotator cuff tendinopathy, shoulder impingement, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, and osteoarthritis.

ACL Injury & Rehabilitation

ACL injuries are common in sport and can result from sudden twisting or impact to the knee. Rehabilitation focuses on restoring stability, strength, and confidence. Typical cases include partial or full ACL tears, often following surgery, with a structured programme to safely return to sport and activity

Post-Surgery Rehab

Rehabilitation after surgery is essential to restore strength, mobility, and function. Common post-surgical conditions include knee replacement, hip replacement, shoulder surgery, ligament reconstruction, and cartilage repair, helping patients regain movement and return safely to everyday activity or sport.

Running Injuries

Running injuries can develop from overuse, training load changes, or biomechanical issues.
Common conditions include Achilles tendinopathy, shin splints, stress fractures, patellofemoral pain, IT band syndrome, and hamstring or calf strains.

Gym and training injuries can result from overuse, poor technique, or sudden increases in load. Common conditions include muscle strains, tendon injuries, ligament sprains, joint pain, and overuse injuries affecting the shoulders, back, knees, and elbows.

Swimming Injuries

Swimming injuries often affect the shoulders, neck, and lower back due to repetitive strokes and training load. Common conditions include swimmer’s shoulder, rotator cuff tendinopathy, neck strain, lower back pain, and shoulder impingement.

Surfing injuries
