Physiotherapy

Assessment and Treatment

Every physiotherapy journey starts with understanding you. We take time to assess how you move, listen to your concerns, and identify what may be holding you back. From there, treatment is guided by your goals, whether that’s reducing pain, improving movement, or rebuilding confidence.

Where appropriate, a range of treatment techniques may be used to support healing and progress, including hands-on soft tissue techniques, joint mobilisation, and dry needling. As your recovery progresses, rehabilitation may also incorporate gym-based or pool-based work to ensure a guided, progressive approach aligned with your long-term goals.

Personalised Gym Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation is about rebuilding strength, control, and confidence, not just ticking boxes. Gym-based rehab is fully personalised to your ability, lifestyle, and goals, whether you’re returning to sport, exercise, or everyday activity. Where appropriate, specific strength testing and objective markers are used to guide progress and decision-making, ensuring rehabilitation is measured, purposeful, and clearly aligned with your return to activity. This approach supports long-term recovery, resilience, and confidence in movement.

Pool Rehabilitation

Pool-based rehabilitation can be an effective option following surgery or when land-based exercise feels too demanding. The supportive environment of the water allows rehabilitation to begin earlier and progress safely, helping restore movement, strength, and confidence with reduced impact on the body. Where appropriate, pool-based rehab can be discussed as part of your assessment and treatment planning to ensure it aligns with your recovery needs and long-term goals.
