Sports Massage

Sports massage is designed for fit, healthy, non-injured individuals to support recovery, manage training load, and prepare the body for performance. Treatments target the main muscle groups used in your sport, for example, legs for runners and cyclists, or arms and shoulders for swimmers.

Sports massage is not intended to assess or treat injuries. If you have ongoing pain or a specific injury, a physiotherapy assessment is recommended to address the underlying cause. Hands-on massage can still be included as part of an overall physiotherapy plan, but not as a standalone treatment.

Is Sports Massage Right for Me?

✔ Have I recently competed, or am I preparing for an upcoming sporting event?

✔ Do I feel generally fit and healthy, without an active injury?

✔ Do I feel heavy or fatigued from training and need flushing out?

✔ Am I looking to support recovery or preparation rather than treat pain or injury?

If you answer yes to these, sports massage is likely a good fit for you.

If you’re unsure whether sports massage is right for you, please get in touch and we’ll advise.
